ROLE AND BACKGROUND

Associate Vice President - Private Credit Valuation

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP/Vice President to lead our Private Credit Valuation Team at 73 Strings. As a Private Credit AVP/VP, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation at the intersection of AI and Corporate Finance, collaborating with our clients and leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver bespoke solutions for the private capital markets. Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with end clients and more junior team members to gather and document requirements for valuation, research, and algorithm development.
2. Provide timely progress updates to project stakeholders and manage deliverable expectations.
3. Facilitate or oversee the onboarding of client assets into the platform, understanding and optimizing Excel models.
4. Contribute to the development of AI & ML-powered products for the financial advisory industry.
5. Test features before release and assist in product testing drills.
6. Identify and manipulate relevant data sources for AI analysis, ensuring quality and coverage.
7. Provide insights to the artificial intelligence team regarding valuation concepts and business research.
8. Test and measure the accuracy of AI models, suggesting improvements.
9. Work on portfolio valuations and various financial and statistical models.
10. Assist Project Managers in various product testing drills.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Graduate or post-graduate with a major in Business/Finance/Statistics/Accounting, or relevant engineering background with finance interest.
• 6-8 years + of experience in CREDIT valuation or corporate finance (hands-on Credit experience is essential) at a Big Four/ similar organisations.
• Detailed understanding of credit instruments and valuation models.
• Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, Pandas, and NumPy is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in data pipeline management, data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and quick to study with a systematic approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
