Managing Director – Credit Valuation

We are looking for a Credit Valuation leader who has had considerable exposure across the Alternative Investment space and has years of experience gained in a fund environment as well as in a Top Tier Valuation firm. Your extensive knowledge and expertise in Valuation, both in direct lending and structured credit, as well as considerable exposure and interest in the emerging technologies used in the field will be instrumental in building our portfolio further in the US and globally.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand our presence in the US market and beyond
• Work closely with the Product and Technology teams to drive innovation within the Credit capabilities of the platform.
• Lead a develop a team of Credit Valuation experts across all geographies in support of our clients and technology
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product, and functional, to develop and expand the product depending on the needs of the market
• Manage Proof of Concept (POC), pilots, implementation, and customer success relations with our clients
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives, tailoring valuation approaches accordingly
• Maintain US client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the valuation process
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and offerings
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior valuation professionals as needed
• Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support the sales team

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a large Fund environment is a must
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in valuation, with a proven track record of senior client relationship, leadership and commercial ability
• Experience in a FinTech environment highly desirable
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence decision-makers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary
