About the role
We are seeking a proactive Strategy and Operations Associate to support our Regional Head of EMEA based in London. In this role, you will i) assist in driving and implementing regional strategies, ii) assist in coordinating cross-functional initiatives, iii) help in the execution of business operations and iv) help in ensuring effective communication across departments within the region and globally. This role will work closely with the counterpart in North America (New York). This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to senior leadership and contribute to the growth and operational efficiency of 73 Strings.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on Support to (strategic) projects: Collaborate with Regional Head to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align regional operations with overall company goals. Assist in overseeing cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with regional priorities and bringing hands-on expertise
- Operational Assistance: Support the streamlining of some day-to-day operations as needed.
- Research and Data Analysis: Help keep apprised with market trends and innovations, provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to support informed decision-making by the Regional Heads.
- Communication & Facilitation: Serve as a point of contact to ensure clarity and alignment between the Regional Heads, senior management, regional teams and external stakeholders. Lead internal meetings on behalf of the Head of the region as required.
- Problem Identification: Assist in identifying challenges and opportunities, managing risks, and devising solutions to support regional growth and operational efficiency. Present summaries in an organized and digestible manner to foster internal discussions and advance to resolutions.
- Marketing and Thought leadership: Help organize and deliver, along with the Marketing teams and other relevant teams, on the Go-to-market strategy and different workstreams (whether events, webinars, thought leadership, follow-ups with prospects, etc).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; 5-7 years hands on experience in either a top-tier consultancy, Big 4 (strategy, transaction services) or investment bank.
- Experience and knowledge of the asset management industry and technical skills around the valuation of alternative assets preferred.
- Exposure to Saas/Fintech or start up environment an advantage but not required.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very strong excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to organizational values.
- Willingness to work from the office a minimum of 2 to 3 days per week.
