About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Associate in Portfolio Monitoring to join our growing team. This role is perfect for professionals with a deep understanding of private credit markets, strong analytical skills, and a strategic mindset to support the ongoing development, refinement, and implementation of our platform capabilities. This individual will play a critical role in aligning the product roadmap with industry best practices and client requirements and assist in client engagements to demonstrate and validate the capabilities of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a domain expert in private credit and alternative asset portfolio monitoring.
- Partner with product, engineering, and client teams to design workflows, metric frameworks, and data models that reflect market practices.
- Define and validate key performance indicators (KPIs) and risk metrics used in credit monitoring (e.g., LTV, DSCR, EBITDA trends, covenant breaches).
- Review and enhance methodologies for credit asset valuation including discounted cash flow models, recovery rate assumptions, and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of features/capabilities on the platform
- Provide input into user experience design for monitoring dashboards and asset drilldowns.
- Train internal teams and clients on use cases, methodologies, and system outputs.
- Stay abreast of market developments in credit and alternative investments, and incorporate best practices into platform features.
Requirements:
- 3–4+ years of experience in private credit, credit research, valuation, or portfolio monitoring within a fund, investment bank, or advisory firm.
- Deep understanding of credit instruments (e.g., term loans, revolvers, mezzanine debt, structured credit).
- Familiarity with fund-level and asset-level reporting structures used by private market investors.
- Strong knowledge of credit valuation principles, DCF modeling, covenant packages, and key credit metrics.
