About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, scale, and harden our multi-cloud infrastructure powering a microservices-based platform.

You will own infrastructure architecture decisions, drive platform reliability, and implement best-in-class DevOps and SRE practices. This role is not about keeping the lights on. It’s about redesigning the power grid while the city is running.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Platform Engineering

• Design and evolve secure, scalable infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP

• Own infrastructure architecture for a microservices-based system

• Define and implement multi-cloud networking, IAM, and security boundaries

• Lead containerization and orchestration strategy (Kubernetes, managed services)

• Improve system resilience, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery posture

Reliability & Performance 

• Design high-availability systems with clear SLOs and SLAs

• Build observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces)

• Lead incident response and post-incident improvements

• Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and scalability

DevOps & Automation

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud providers

• Automate provisioning, scaling, patching, and compliance controls

• Improve release reliability in microservices-heavy environments

Security & Compliance

• Implement cloud-native security controls and zero-trust principles

• Support compliance requirements typical in FinTech (SOC2, ISO, etc.)

• Harden infrastructure against vulnerabilities and misconfigurations

• Partner with security and engineering teams on secure architecture reviews

Leadership & Influence

• Act as a technical authority in cloud infrastructure

• Mentor engineers and set infrastructure standards

• Drive platform engineering initiatives across teams

• Work closely with Product and Engineering leadership to align infrastructure with business goals

 Required Experience:

• Deep hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Azure, AWS, GCP

• Proven experience in companies operating microservices architectures at scale

• Background from established technology companies with mature engineering practices

• Strong Kubernetes experience (designing and operating production clusters)

• Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform preferred)

• Experience designing high-availability distributed systems

• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, cloud security, and cost optimization

 Strongly Preferred:

• Experience in FinTech or SAAS environments

• Experience running multi-cloud environments in production

• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc.)

• Experience implementing SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, incident management)

• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001)
